ボクの恋人は外国人だ。それはともかく、どうにも頭が悪い。
日本語学校で勉強を始めたというのに、
たとえば空から来るものは全部雨だと思っているみたいで、人に聞かれると恥ずかしいのだ。

雨が降っているときに空を指差し、
「アメ、アメ」
と笑う。これはもうすごく可愛いんだけど。でも冬の街をデートしている時に、遠くで轟く稲妻に
「キャアッ、アメダッ！」
としがみつかれたり（しがみつくのは、まあ、いいんだけど）、不意に振りまかれる細かな氷の粒に
「アメサンダワ、アメサン」
ってはしゃいだりとか、その晩二人でいるときに窓の外をしんしんと降りしきる白い景色を
「ア、アメヨ、キレイネ」
とか言って寄りかかってこられても、いや、ボクも肩に手を回したりするんだけど、
彼女は日本語ってものをまるっきり理解してないなあと思うのだ。
彼女には日本語、無理なのかなあ。皆さんはどう思いますか？
