突きつけるように、

福島さん、何か他のことに話をそらそうとするが

石破さん「救けに行くのか行かないのか、答えなさい！」

福島さん、やや口を閉ざしているが、


「いえ、だから・・・」と口ごもるが
居直ったように

「アメリカの海兵隊が救いに行くと（石破さんが）言うけれど
彼らが救うのはまずアメリカ人ですよ！」
（あなたは救いに行くのか、という直接的な問いには
答えぬまま）


石破さん、憤然として

「それは当たり前でしょ！　だから自衛隊法を変えようとしたら
それを反対したのは、あなたじゃないですか！」


福島さん「いや、だ、だからそれは・・・・」


福島さんの絶句ぶりにスタジオ内、失笑ともつかぬ微妙な笑い声が
漏れる。
